Mended Sparrow is a little slice of peaceful heaven. From taking in the fresh air to walking around with the beautiful horses it was a magical time for me, a place I could really clear my head and find peace in this chaotic world. The peace they give can't be bought in stores and I can't wait to visit again and of course I have to see my main girl Gretch!

Many of us have seen heartwarming stories and anecdotes in the media or heard personal stories from family and friends of the benefits of interacting with horses. A frequent question involves the scientific merit of having horses involved in mental health services and how they might improve the quality of life of those involved.
